Who knew that “Work From Home” would trend like any buzzword that we come across daily. ‘Lockdown’ the word that nobody has been acquainted with or has ever thought of, Now chanting it in their lives every day.

Have we ever wondered, what if the world needs to rest and press the pause button?

What would we do? What will happen to our chores? How is it going to affect us?

But now we can experience it ALL.

Lockdown was not only a surprise to many of us but turned out to be a nightmare for the weaker sections of the nation. Reading newspapers now on a daily note has become as dreadful as simple mourning noon. Lockdown meant different to different things. For some it’s suicidal, to some it was depression and for some, it was a vacation, but collectively everyone tried to pace with it so that the lockdown effects don’t get over them.

What It Meant to Me :

For me, I have been making plans since last year for the “Summer of 2020”. Tickets were booked, everything was set for an Easter Brunch but unfortunately, the Lockdown Surprise broke us all. I have started comparing who else is there with the family and started getting depressed about being left out. I have been struggling for a week but all my weeps and worries went unheard.

I was blocked over all my ways and nothing was making peace to me. But over time I was tired of being upset and unmotivated. That’s when I decided to make some changes to my routine and accept whatever is happening around and not to control it.

The biggest inspiration was from the real heroes of the nation that came up to me, the “Doctors”, who are working restlessly, leaving behind their families and walking straight to their duties.

Few skills I have mastered on during this quarantine:

  • Patience: With patience and perseverance even the Earth can change its spin.
  • Self-reliance: The key to your happiness is in your pocket.
  • Time: This time is never going to be back. We can pass this time by cursing the cause but what if we utilize it for something brighter in the foreseen.

The journey of lockdown was not easy. It cost patience and emotions But, it’s all a matter of time. Well, it’s beautifully said “Life Teaches Everything” and is genuinely applied.
